Just got back from helping Kelly move some of her stuff back to our house. Jen is moving out and kelly is moving in- on Friday they're making the switch...Jen I guess is saving to go to Australia soon so she needs to live at home. God- I wish that I could live at home and save for a big trip!
Tomorrow is going to be a crazy day! I have class at 8:30 tomorrow morning and don't get done until 2 in the afternoon. Then I have to get over to the rink to teach at 3. I get done there at 4 and then have to go to my study abroad information meeting a 5. At 6 there is an apple club meeting and I have a doc films meeting at 7. Luckily they're all in the same building (Comm Arts), but I'm still going to be running around like a chicken with my head cut off! Why does everyone schedule their meetings on Wednesday nights?
It's starting to get really cold here now....nooooooo! Snow is in the forecast for tomorrow! Woah...snow....yuck! I hate winter! I'm missing the warm summer days already! And winter hasn't even started yet!
There is a new song out called "Stacy's Mom" that's really funny! Check it out if you get a chance!
"Stacy's mom has got it going on...."
lol

A quickie before I gotta go pick Deanna up from class. Nothing much new going on...
I really like the new Chemical Brothers song "The Golden Path". If you get a chance check it out! Its pretty good- techno with lyrics! A rarity!
I'lll update later if anything interesting happens....
Don't forget to click on my ads (I'm up to $4.22 now- waaahooooo)!

Monday's are soooo long- it seems like I never get done! I have class from 10:20-11:40, then class again from 12:40-2:00, then I have to teach at the rink from 3:30-4:00, then I have to teach again from 5:20-5:50, then I have to teach learn to skate from 6:20-7:10.
The thing that sucks is I have little hour breaks between things- not enough time to actually do anything!
It just seems like it goes on and on and on! The last hour of learn to skate is torture! I have Snow Plow Sam 1- yes- you heard me- Snow Plow Sam 1! I have to admit though- they are pretty cute! But its soooo difficult keeping them entertained.
How difficult is keeping the snow plow sam 1 skaters entertained?
Difficult.

Went down to Akers last night. Kevin, Bugsy, and I watched "The Two Towers". I can't for for "Return of the King" to come out! It's going to be a little sad once that and "Revolutions" are released...no more huge budget trilogies to look forward to! Well...maybe Episode III next year, but after that what? I'm sure they'll think of something. These movies are just cool because you have to see all of the movies (almost 9 hours total in The Lord of the Rings case) to understand the whole plot and point of the movie.
I have some stuff to do today. Yuck- all school work! I have my first exam in communications tomorrow. I hope that goes well. I also have my first exam in telecommunications history on Thursday- waaaaahoooo!

I almost forgot about teaching learn to skate today! Woah- good thing I woke up at 8 and remembered! Well, I didn't really forget because I thought about it before I went to bed last night, but I forgot to set my alarm!
Don't forget to click on my ads on the right- I make $.10 per click! If I make enough money maybe I'll add some new site features or get rid of the annoying banner ad at the top of my page...

Just got back from seeing "Once Upon A Time in Mexico" with Jen. She had free movie passes so we took a jaunt over to the Lansing Mall 6 to check it out- THANKS JEN!
I enjoyed the movie overall. The action had a pretty cool style, the plot was decent, and the music was great! Check it out if you get a chance...its pretty good.

Yay! I finally got most of the stuff fixed on my site. I messed it up the other night by playing around with the blogger templates...as you can see by the new look. I got sick of the green- it was cool for a little bit, but this plain is more timely and simple.
I went to an MSU Documentary Film Makers meeting last night. It was the first meeting of the year so everyone was basically new this year (expect for Jeff the guy that ran it last year). We semi-elected officers and I'm the PRESIDENT!!! I've never really been president of anything before so I think this will be a good learning experience for me! We decided that we're going to try and create 3 projects this school year. One large one, a documentary about the music scene in Lansing and East Lansing. We're going to be working on this for the entire year and hopefully have a finished doc by the end of the spring semester. The 2 smaller projects will be completed during the fall and spring semester. This semesters project is going to be about the new noise violation laws in East Lansing. So it should be semi-interesting to get multiple view points about the law and track the people that are trying to change it.
Well, I hope everyone likes the new design better. Change is good and I think this will be a wrote wile change to the site...

What a boring day today. Didn't really do much today. Played around a little with the flash demo. Made a new banner for my site- it should be up sometime this week. I'm changing the layout of my page soon so look out...
Got up at 11- man I was tired! Went with Deanna and Kelly to "Big Apple Bagels" for breakfast. Came home and played with flash. Tried to sit down and watch "The Evil Dead"- I couldn't get into it. Surfed a little bit. Watched some TV. Tried to watch "The Ghost in the Darkness"- couldn't get into it. Now I'm here writing this...how boring!

Woah! We (roommates) just grilled a nice big dinner. Steak with Montreal Steak Seasoning and Soy Sauce (thanks Steph), Corn on the Cobb, Baked potato, and salad. I'm so unbelievably full right now it's not funny. I feel like I'm going to EXPLODE!
Before that I just got back from that Flash MX seminar. I made a new banner for the site. Hopefully I can get that up sometime this weekend. I'm going to a movie at 7:30 with Kevin and Bugsy (The Italian Job) so I doubt it'll be tonight- but maybe if I get back semi-early and I'm bored I might download the flash demo and mess around with it now that I actually know how to get around...
I ordered my new cell phone from Amazon with T-Mobile service. I ended up getting the Nokia 3650 for a few reasons. Mainly 'cause I got it for free. Free is always a good thing. I think I would have rather had the Sony/Ericsson T616 due to its small size, but it's final price ended up being $100 so I went for the free phone instead. The Nokia has more features for the money...ha...Money...Considering it was free. The nokia can actually take movies and pictures with sound and e-mail them to other people. I can also post to my blog from the phone- which will be cool....I'll be posting some pics and stuff once I get the phone and get everything set up.
I went out to Josh and Emily's (some new friends) apartment with Deanna and Kelly last night. We had a good time- I taught Kelly the Tango Romantica and one of the free dance lifts! What was amazing was she could do the lift only the 2nd time I explained it!!! Not bad for a non-skater....
Some songs that I'm listening to right now:
"Eat You Alive" by Limp Bizkit
"Hurt (Quiet)" by Nine Inch Nails
-EXPLODING-

Just got back from the Study Abroad fair at the union. Got a change to talk with some people that just got back from the "Photo Communication in the UK" program. Now that I've actually talking with some people that have gone it makes me want to go even more! They said I need to get my application in early so I picked one up and I'm going to fill it out this weekend.
More good news...I got back and checked my e-mail and found out someone had canceled for a Flash class that I tried to sign up for this Saturday! I'm really excited for this- I don't know anything about Flash so it'll be a great learning experience I'm sure- its an all day seminar so I'm sure I'll get something out of the deal! I can't believe it's offered to MSU students for free!!!
Free is always good in my book.

I found this new thing called "Market Banker" it places small ads on my page for a fee. I hope nobody minds the ads- it's helping me pay to keep the page up and running. If you see anything interesting please feel free to click on the ads listed in the upper right corner. I get paid per click.
We got a new front door installed last night. Its much better than the last one that we got. Mom sent a care package! Waaaahoooo! Thanks mom! She sent "Chicago", "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers", and "The Ghost and the Darkness". They're all great movies and if you guys haven't seen them I think you should go out and rent at least one of 'em.
I'm chatting with this kid from Austria right now on iChat. Its so odd the random people that just message me 'cause they see my site listed on appleinsider or macrumors...

Forgot that I saw "Cabin Fever" this weekend. It was a decent movie...Satisfying I would say. Make sure you see it at a nice theater- I think it would be lame on a small screen.
I've been so lazy/busy lately. Is that possible? When I get done with all of my school/skating stuff I just come home and crash! I feel bad 'cause I haven't updated in a while either. I got some recent cool stuff to add.
Get the song "Party to Damascus" by Wyclef Jean & Missy Elliott its one of the best "booty" songs I've heard in a while. Definitely worth the $.99 on the iTunes Music Store.
Apple updated the powerbooks last night. I'm droooling over the new 15 inch widescreen version, with DVD burner, lighted keyboard, bluetooth, etc. The updated 12 inch version is nice too. They also released a wireless bluetooth mouse and keyboard. Now- hmmmmm- Mom needs to get a new keyboard- would this lead to the possibility of me getting the new keyboard/mouse? hmmmm...If only I had a new 15" powerbook with built in bluetooth and I didn't have to get a USB bluetooth adapter to use with my old aging iBook.
My stupid 12:40 TC (telecommunications) class got canceled today. I got dropped off and then found out- ever hear about e-mail? So I ended walking all the way to Brody to catch the bus back home. I didn't have $.50 so I had to use a $5 and they don't give change on the bus. So now I have all these free ride tickets- which are basically useless 'cause I don't ride the bus that often. URG!

Well...we had a little gathering at our house last night. Kelly made some salads and I cooked the burgers on the grill (in the dark). I like my (personal) burgers a little rare so I thought that mine were done so I put them on the top rack. Well- I continued to cook the others. Kelly cheesed 'em and we took them inside. Well- come to find out (after the cheese was on them) they weren't done! So we had to de-cheese those babies and cook 'em more- now I'm cooking in complete darkness. Charred the hell out of 'em. Nice cook anyway...
I really like the new Outkast song "Hey Ya" and the new Wyclef Jean & Missy Elliott song "Party to Damascus". They have a different sound to them. Outkast's new album comes out at the end of the month which I'm a little excited for- he always has something unique.
Word.

God! Its been soooo hot the last few days! I got one of the books that I ordered from Amazon today. Its called "The Iraq War Reader". Its for one of my classes this semester- about peace and justice. My first paper for that class is due on Monday. URG!
I'm starting to get really really fast at typing now- way faster than before- I can touch type completely now. Sometimes I even type things faster than I can think about them. I'll be thinking about a sentence and then look at what I've typed and the last few words have already been typed- wired.
"Cabin Fever" comes out tomorrow. I think it looks pretty good. That and "Cold Creek Manor" I want to see. They're my choices for September I guess.
I want to find a poll service for my sight. It would be cool to have daily or weekly polls on my site. Fun to think about the different topics every day or week.
Stay Tuned.

Alright- so I'm talking to my friend TJ on iChat- who's in JAPAN right now! Woah- its so odd thinking that he's on the other side of the world right now and I'm chatting with him on iChat. He's over there for school and said the program is really tough...but totally worth it!
GOD I can't wait to go to the UK next summer, I just wish it was someplace more exotic, but hey- its somewhere. I'll get to Asia in the future I'm sure. I wouldn't mind going to Thailand (I hear they have great beaches) and Japan and maybe China (to see the great wall)...

Well...my roommates joined a Tuesday night bowling league. I just got back from watching their first two games (they're playing the 3rd one as I type this). Anyway- Kelly was expecting there to be a lot of young people there...but guess what? Majority of the teams are over 50! I was so funny 'cause the team that they were playing were all old men and the old guys where whooping 'em! Nice.
My cell phone contract expires on October 5th and I've been looking at some plans. I think I'm gonna go with the T-Mobile National one with the Nokia 3650 phone. I'll end up getting the phone for free with 300 anytime national minutes and unlimited weekends and unlimited internet access from the phone for the same thing that I'm paying right now with AT&T! Also no roaming as long as I'm in the U.S..
As far as the phone is concerned its a color camera phone that can take and e-mail video and stills. I also can use it to chat on AIM which is cool and surf the web- on the phone or wirelessly over bluetooth to my iBook. It can also download videos from the web and play them on the phone with real player. I found an application today that will let me update my blog from my phone (called Moblogging) and post pictures from the phone on my blog wirelessly!
For some reason I couldn't sleep well last night- I got up this morning at 5:30 and couldn't go back to sleep. So I've been running on about 6 hours of sleep for the last 48 hours and still going strong. I'm getting a little sleepy writing this, but all is good 'cause I'll be able to sleep tonight. I have my first paper due next Monday that I'm going to start tomorrow night. I think when I'm done at the rink I'm going to head over to the library and study a little bit before coming home where there are so many distractions. I would like to get the paper done before the weekend so I don't have to worry about it come Sunday night.
I cooked dinner today on the grill. Kelly and Deanna told me that I left the gas on for the grill and I needed to get another tank (I just got a new one last week). I was sooooooooooo mad! Well- I decided to go check and guess what...we still had gas! I don't know what they were talking about, but they said that the grill ran out on Saturday when they were cooking!?!? So I ended up making Cheesy potatoes, chicken for them, a pork chop for me, and corn. Yummmmmm. It makes me hungry just thinking about it!
Oh yeah- I don't think I'm going to be renewing my .mac account so please everyone start sending all e-mail to "ellenich@msu.edu" thanks! Also my photo galleries might be a little screwy while I'm transferring them over to my MSU AFS space.
Later.

For those of you who have been trying to come to my site- its been down a few times the past couple of days..so...no updates fo you!
I took a quick trip down to Ann Arbor this weekend to visit Steph, Laura, Elise, and Britt. I had such a great time and some goood laughs...Steph demonstrated some killer moves...yet another person made fun of my rather long arms (Elise)...I danced to "Crazy in Love" via Britts new camera phone...and I've never seen Laura so excited in my life (after a phone call). Waaaaaahoooooo! It almost makes me wish I went to U of M...ummmmmmm...maybe not.
For those of you who care, Apple updated their iMac's and iPod's today. The iMac's just got just a minor speed bump, and the iPod's now come in 10 gig, 20 gig, and 40 gig!!!!
40 gigs can hold 10,000 songs or about 43,200 minutes or about 720 hours or about 30 days or about 1 month of pure music! Could you imagine having that much music?
Woah...geek out.

Just got back from the nightly rollerblade.
I'm really not enjoying this whole fall weather thing...It's cold, windy, and depressing. I really love a nice, warm, sunny, summer day. Ahhhh- I can see it now. The sun, the waves, the heat.
MMMMMMMMMMM...Hawaii.

Wow- what a long day today (so far). Go up for class at 7:30- I don't know why but waking up here in the apartment is much better than getting up in a crummy dorm room at 7:30. I have no idea why, I think it may be brighter in the morning. I don't know- maybe thats why...
Nothing really important went on today- just the usual lectures and skating stuff. I'm running low on energy and I still need to work out. URG! At least I'll be able to sleep well tonight...God I really have nothing to write in this thing today- how boring!
